Disappearing Faces

LenExpo, Saint Petersburg

“Disappearing Faces” is a group exhibition that showcases top Petersburg artists. It explores barriers that stop one from being his true self. They can be different in nature and often serve us as protective mechanisms, but all of them inevitably lead to the dissolution of one’s personality. A visitor is encouraged to reflect on his own barriers and on whether it is worth letting go of some of them.

Artists: Antonina Fatkhulina, Ilia Gaponov, Alisa Gorelova, Sergey Karev, Maksim Kleshchekov, Kirill Koteshov, Vadim Mikhailov, Konstantin von Riben, Nathalie Spetchinskaya

Curator: Anna Filonenko
